OnePlus 8 pro receiving OxygenOS 11 Update – Hands-on with OnePlus’s Android 11 update

The OnePlus has released the OxygenOS 11 with Android 11 update for Oneplus 8 and 8 pro devices and this update comes with new features and Oneplus has changed the system-wide UI into the new look. The only bad news is the new Oneplus oxygen OS 11 (HydrogenOS 11 in China) is no longer the cleanest Android skin.

Actually, the Oxygen OS is popular as the cleanest and the fastest android skin but with this new update everything has changed and It seems like the Oneplus is inspired by the Samsung one UI. But before we talk about the UI, I wanna tell about the new features that come with the Oxygen OS 11 update

Features Of OxygenOS 11 UPDATE

Always On Display

Many of the Oneplus users are waiting for this “Always on Display” including Me. we all know how important to have this feature in our phones but from years Oneplus is skipping this feature for some reason and finally it is there in this update.

The Always On Display has some new and unique features like a vertical line that represents the Screen on time, time, date and the time left in the day, Oneplus did a great job by bringing this feature in OxygenOS 11 update and it also has normal options to display like time, clock and analog clock.

Brand New Font

Oneplus added a new custom font with the traditional front in OxygenOS 11 update and this a cool feature for who loves customizations

New System Apps

The new app designs are simply excellent and this time it redesigned all the existing stock apps and brought the new look to the entire user interface, at the same time. Coz of this new look, now it won’t give you that clean android skin look from OxygenOS 11 update

New Live Wallpapers

As part of the updated UI, you will get the chance to use live wallpapers by default without any dedicated app from the play store and these live wallpapers are also pretty good and good enough to have the live wallpapers experience.

Updated System UI

coming to the UI, I genuinely feel like Oneplus takes a lot of features from Huawei’s EMUI and Samsung’s UI adds Oneplus flare to it. And it worked too the new UI is fabulous but the only regret of mine that clean and simple android look is gone, apart from that everything is fine.
